Rental Terms and Conditions of Mas Jonquer

1. The price includes

• Wifi internet
• Cleaning and laundry after your departure
• Welcome products for kitchen and bathroom (detailed on the website www.masjonquer.com)
• Bed linen
• Towels (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person, 1 bath mat per bathroom), not pool towels
• Normal consumption of utilities (for periods of less than 30 days)

2. It also includes

• Instructions for using the house's equipment
• Tourist information
• Advice
• Maintenance and repairs

3. You may also opt for, if you wish

• High chairs and cots, free of charge
• Daily or weekly cleaning service: ask for the cost
• Daily or weekly laundry service: ask for the cost

These services can be arranged on arrival.

Booking process

Payments. Two prepayments or instalments are required:

1. Prepayment by bank transfer to confirm the booking.
2. Pagament del que resta, que es pot realitzar:
   • by card on the day of arrival, or
   • by bank transfer (this option must be completed 4 days before the day of arrival).

Booking confirmation

Your booking will not be confirmed until Mas Jonquer has received the booking prepayment.

Cancellation by the guest

Method: a guest wishing to cancel their booking must notify us by email.

Notification date: the cancellation date will be the date on which the email is received by Mas Jonquer.

The cancellation policy is as follows:

• If you cancel the booking 45 days before your arrival, the deposit will be refunded.
• If you cancel within 45 days before your arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.

Security deposit

On arrival you will be asked to provide €200 as a guarantee for the proper use of the property and its equipment. After the house has been inspected and cleaned, the deposit will be returned 3 days after your departure, to the account number you give us.

Please note that by accepting our Rental Terms and Conditions you authorise Mas Jonquer to pay the amount corresponding to the repair of any damage caused to the property, furniture and/or equipment during your stay.

Upon arrival at the property, you will have 8 hours to inform Mas Jonquer of any incident or complaint you consider appropriate. You can do so by WhatsApp or by phone on 610 914 947, or by email at isabel@masjonquer.com.

Number and identity of guests

• When making the booking, you must provide Mas Jonquer with the personal details of all guests.
• Mas Jonquer is required to provide this information to the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) in order to comply with Article 12.1 of Organic Law 1/1992 on the protection of public safety.
• The maximum capacity of the accommodation (21) may not be exceeded under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this rule entitles Mas Jonquer to ask the guest to vacate the property immediately, with no right to any claim.

Check-in and check-out times

• Weekend stay: check-in is from 5 pm. If there are no guests the night before, check-in may be from 12 noon. You will be given the keys and a tour of the house.
• Check-out until 8 pm.
• Week stay (19 June to 28 August): check-in from 5 pm and check-out before 10 am.
• Any unauthorised departure after this time may be penalised.

Rules on the condition of the accommodation at departure:

• On the day of your departure you must leave the accommodation in reasonable condition of cleanliness (swept and tidy).
• The kitchen must be tidy, and the crockery and cutlery clean.
• Rubbish must be left in the place indicated.
• Rackets, balls and board games: please leave them tidy inside the house.
• The financial penalty for failing to comply with these rules will be equivalent to the cost of a change-over clean of your accommodation.

On departure, the guest must leave the property, leaving it free, empty and available to Mas Jonquer. Failure to leave the property on the agreed date obliges the guest to pay, as a contractual penalty, the equivalent of three times the daily rate corresponding to the rate published on the Mas Jonquer website, payable for each week elapsed until the property is freely available to the landlord. This clause is independent and therefore compatible with the landlord taking the legal action necessary to obtain forced eviction.

Swimming pool

• In the pool, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• It is forbidden to put chairs and sun loungers in the pools.
• We recommend that guests do not use glass around the pool.
• Playing with water balloons is not allowed in the pool area or in the pool.
• Dogs may not swim in the pool.

Pets

• Dogs are accepted in the house, up to a maximum of 3. There is a surcharge of €20 per animal for the whole stay.
• Dogs must bring their own beds and food bowls. They may not climb on the beds, armchairs or sofa. House materials must never be used to cover the armchairs and sofa. They must never be left alone in the house, without their owners.
• It is important to pick up any droppings the dog may have left in the garden and/or facilities. We recommend checking before you leave.
• Dogs may not swim in the pool.

Conduct

• The guest agrees to act with the utmost civility, respecting the surroundings, the peace, nature, cleanliness and order of the property.
• In the event of evidence of vandalism, drunkenness, rowdiness or reckless use of the property, the owners reserve the right to terminate the rental contract at any time, and the tenants must leave the premises immediately.
• Parties and large speakers are prohibited.
• From 11 pm, no music may be played in the garden.
• Please do not move the furniture, books or games from their place, or use glitter, confetti or stickers anywhere on the estate.
• Failure to comply with these rules entitles Mas Jonquer to ask the guest to vacate the property with no right to any claim or compensation, nor refund of the rent paid.

Liability

Mas Jonquer will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may arise as a result of the guest's use of the property, its equipment or services, including, without limitation, damage or loss due to fire, theft or criminal behaviour.

In the event of any breach of the obligations mentioned above, Mas Jonquer, at its own discretion, shall have the right to ask the guest to leave the property, and the guest shall have no right to claim any compensation.

Forgotten items

If someone in the group forgets an item, it will be sent to the address you give us. The shipping cost will be paid by the guest.

Keys

We leave 3 key rings with two keys each in the house. If one is lost, €10 will be charged per key ring.

Balls

We leave 3 balls in the house (1 basketball, 1 football and 1 volleyball). Please check when leaving that they are in the room where the games, chess sets, etc. are. The loss of any of these during your stay will cost €5 each, which will be deducted from the deposit you leave.

Smoke-free property

With children and future guests in mind, we ask that you do not smoke inside the house. You may smoke outside, in the garden.

Tourist tax

Since 2012, a tax of €0.99 per night booked is applied by law to guests over 16, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€6.93 per person).

Legal notice

Access to any information published on the website is subject to acceptance of these Rental Terms and Conditions. All bookings are subject to the availability of the property and to receipt of a confirmation email from the guest.
